Dear Pixie,

I am writing in response to the message you posted about the birth of Lochard Urquhart.  Lochard was my husband Peter's great x 3 grandfather and he  is descended from him through his son, William.  I am afraid I can't answer your questions about Christy or the name Lockhart.  I have census records for 1841 and 1851 for Lochard's son, Lockhart, and for his mother to 1861.  I also have a copy of her death certificate dated 1867, but I don't have any information about her husband other than what is on her death certificate.  The copy of Lochard's birth registration that I have is almost illegible.   I think it says Robert was a clockmaker, but I'm not sure!

If, by chance you are interested in information about the branch of the family that ended up in Australia, then I have lots of information that I would be pleased to share.  I woud also be delighted to hear more of what you know of the family as I have not had contact with any other relatives.
