Sorry to bother yu again, but could you check the 1841 census and see if
you can find  Ruth Gray and who she is with.  I think Elizabeth Dodds  may have been a Charlton (married William Dodds 1844), sister to Aaron.  They were together in 1841.

No Worries

1841 Census Ruth GRAY is in Durham Castle, Gainford, Durham.  She is living with Nicholas GRAY who I assume is her husband, he is aged 60 and living off independent means and was not born in Durham. 

No sign of Elizabeth DODDS/CHARLTON.
