Please could some kind person with access to the above named records look up the marriage of Joseph Catherall and Hannah Ibbs at Stoke-On-Trent in 1860 for me?   I would like to know all the given information.

Thanks for your trouble, Mari.   At present I've no idea what the link with Staffordshire was, nor how it came about.   I've not found any other family there, prior to this.   I was hoping that someone might have the church records, so that I can follow up any leads to see if I can make definite links.   The Staffordshire website will certainly help, I presume, with Elizabeth's family, once I'm sure she's not a red herring!
