Are there any Greenop family members out there? We are back to 1706 but there are holes so any input would be appreciated. Centering around Whitehaven and Renwick but can't tie the two together.

I am from Workington, as is my Father and my Grandfather ( Alfred Henry Greenop now sadly deceased). We know we are related to the Greenop's at Renwick and my aunty has done some considerable work on our family tree. Have you been in touch with our family?

Not managed to understand how this Forum works so don't know how to reply to your notes. I can confirm that my Grandfather was a greengrocer in Workington and my Auntie's name is now
She has done a massive amount of research on the family _ I'm sure she'll be able to fill in some gaps.
Hope this is useful Bob
