I haven't continued after 1861 censuses as I presume you have access and may want to continue.
It is sad that you can't find anything about Sarah - I wonder if the parish records would show anything up if you were able to get access to them.

its ok with the later census thanks - I shall have to alter my tactics

it does seem as tho they stayed in the area so to speak so parish records might be the way to gp

Charlotte -- cannot find
George mar Mary Ann Cheesman 18.3.1854
Sarah mar George Brann 7.11.1852 Wittersham
Mercy mar John Parsons 1.5.1858 Wittersham
