Can someone help me progress with this family please
« on: Thursday 08 February 07 19:06 GMT (UK) »
I Have the following family on 1841 census

James Bradley  age 50
Sarah Bradley age 45
Charlotte Bradley age 11
George Bradley  age 9
Sarah Bradley age 7
Mercy Bradley age 4

The family are living at Stocks Farm Wittersham and I suspect that the children at least were born there tho another possibility is Stone
I have a note in my records saying that James may have been born Stone but nothing has been proved

I am looking for possible baptisms of James and or the children and even better would be a marriage however I have no idea of Sarahs surname only a rough idea of when she was born and the fact that 1841 says she was NOT of the county
I cannot find the family at all on 1851 census with the exception of the daughter Sarah

Is anyone able to help at all

I know who the daughter sarah married but nothing on any of the other children at all either marriages or deaths

did younger Sarah marry George Brann - and if so then you will have James in 1861 - if I have found the right family.

Yes Heywood she did

and you have just reminded me where I got the note that James was born in Stone from  I shall be making a source note on that immediately

a death great - immediate certificate looks to be needed tho whether it reveals much will be  a chance we take
