James BAMBURY, possibly Kingbury Episcopi
« on: Wednesday 07 February 07 00:12 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for JAMES BAMBURY, born 1796.  By 1841 he was living in Tiverton, Devon, having married a woman from Thorverton, but his family does not appear to come from those parts.  It has been suggested to me that he came  from Somerset, perhaps from Kingsbury, leaving his family there.

Does anyone have any clues?

Florence Kate

Hi - I am also descended from the Bambury/Bambery family in the Devon area, my 5xgreat grandfather was Joseph Bambury c.1776 who in 1799 is living in Payhembury.  He had two known sons, William c.1791 Feniton & John c.1799 Payhembury.

Would love to find out more or have any clues you might have.

Kind Regards
Paula
