Hi
When you have a free moment could you look for a James Davidson burial in Tarbolton.  He died January 1865 at Annbank. Many thanks and regards, Karen

Karen.

On just reading my e-mails, I am told by a RootsChat team that I had a topic on RootsChat I was interested in.    I feel I should contact you on this.  I have never heard of Tarbolton Churchyard.  I  do not .know its location and I have no ancestors, that I am aware of that is buried in this cemetery.

I am sure there has been  a mixup of some sort, even though I received the message on my e-mail address.

I hope it can be sorted out.

regards,

Doris

Nell,

Sorry about that, yes I was searching the surname Muir.  My Great Grandfather was James Muir, born Jan. 6. 1826 in Kilmarnock, Ayreshire, Scotland.  I guess what threw me in all this was the name "Tarbolten Churchyard.

Regards,

Doris

Hi,
if you have time could you tell me if there are any Hislops recorded in the cemetary. I have traced to a John Hislop who was schoolmaster at Tarbolton in 1796

Thanks Laura
