Hi
The Nelson's died in the 1880's to 1900. I must agree that it is very frustrating when you cannot find who you are looking for. Thanks again for all your help..

Could you check the name McJanet please.  My g g g grandfather William McJanet was born in Tarbolton in 1790.  I have no information on his parents other than names - William McJanet and Margaret Bryan.  Its worth a look for family if you have the time.  Thank you very much!

John GRAY b abt 1773 died before 1841 (I believe, can't find him on the 1841 census), also his father, another John GRAY born about 1750 died bef 1841.  Sorry can't give you any more details, John junior's wife was Margaret Stewart (she died 1861 in Kilmarnock).

 Hello,

Sorry for the intrusion, but on checking my e-mails I saw where one of the RootsChat team had sent me some information, but I discovered it was
re"Tarbolton Churchyard.  On this I had not requested information.

I did post a message for help on information on Webster/Lee - Newport.

Would you be able to look into this and be able to find just what went on here.

Doris

 Hello Carolann,

Sorry for the intrusion here, but I feel a mixup of some sort has occured.

I am a senior who resides in Nova Scotia, Canada.  For a goodly number of years I have been trying to trace my England roots/

I found the RootsChat team to be very helpful to me.

I noted from your posts that your subject was "Tarbolton Churchyard"  An e-mail me was sent me in regards to this request.  I was searching my Family Tree but I found no mention of this churchyard.  I feel bad that I am of no help.

May I add that my Ancestral roots are from Donnington Wood/Lilleshall areas.

 Good luck in your searching.

 Regards.

Doris

Thank you for your reply.  Re Tarbolton Churchyard, I am sure all will be resolved  I notiiced on the bottom of your posting a list of surnames.  I could not help but notice the name Gittens.  I had a Great Uncle Moses Humpherson who married Mary Ann Gittens.  She was born 1839.  Just thought I would mention this.

I had started this message previously and guess my finger touched the wrong key, so it either got posted or it didn't, so hopefully all is OK.

Kindest regards,

Doris

Hi

I have a few Fulton's in Tarbolton in the 1700 and 1800's and wondered if you had any information on them in the churchyard.
