« on: Monday 29 January 07 15:35 GMT (UK) »
Hi all ,
I`m having a great deal of probs looking for a death ....

George Rowe
Born Nov 1892 Burslem staff

right well he died between
1924 and 1928 (my great gran remarried in 1928)
my Great gran Beatrice Martha Jarvis and George Rowe married and lived in Hastings Sussex my nan Maisie Patricia Frances Rowe was born in 1925 and i believe the last child born of George (sadly i can`t find any more on this cuz my nan past away in 1985)
i just want to find his death so i can have a nose at how he past away see if the old story's are true i suppose.

this could be a death at sea  ???
story goses he tried to jump between to ships

If someone can help me on this quest i`ll be very greatfull

Thanks for your time in this matter
Best Regards

Hi Lady_G,

Have you searched the deaths register from 1924-1928 on www.ancestry.co.uk?  Or the births register to see if any more children were born after Maisie?  If there were more children it will narrow down the search for his death.

Lady_G,

Do you know what his occupation was? This might confirm the death at sea story.

my gramp signed up with the Canadian expeditionary force  in 1913
and was discharged  Jan 21st 1919

i paid out $40 Canadian dollors for his service records tells me a great deal about him e.g addresses how much he was paid were and when he went out on the field  just not his death..

i`m sure something will turn up somewhere   :( here`s hopping

Wonder if he ran away back to Canada and Beatrice felt better as a "widow"?
