Hi Julia

I live in Sawley which is next to Long Eaton so I'm not far away!  I am descended from Thomas and Mary.  Their son Edmund married Sarah Foster in 1844 and they were the parents of Edmund Foster Towle. He married Clara Read in 1875 and they were the parents of Edith Annie Towle. She married Lewis Thompson Wheeldon and they were the parents of Catherine Annie Wheeldon. She married James William Allen and they had a daughter Joyce. Joyce married Gerald Willis and were the parents of Anne - me!
Edmund and Sarah lived in Beeston before coming to Long Eaton.  Edmund remarried to a much younger woman (Martha Birley)in 1895 following the death of Sarah in 1890.  The others all lived in Long Eaton.  I have sent a personal message with my e-mail address so we can chat further!
Regards  Anne

Thank you so very much!!  I LOVE seeing what my great great grandfather looked like, along with his wives.  Thank you for posting these pictures.  I truly appreciate you taking the time to do so!!
