Hiya Dave

Long time no speak! (Looking at your avtar makes me realise how long - what a fantastic lad!)

Some dear soul has transcribed Tibbertons parish records (I dont know how complete they are) http://www.geocities.com/pennytrueman/tibb.html

Doesn't lead us any closer to Edward but there was another Colley family in Tibberton - Thomas and Anne

Rather annoyingly there are no baptisms for Elizabeth Davies or Jane Baskerville!

Hiya All hope your keeping well

Well I'm back trying to decipher the Colley family again but just finding more circles to run round in

I have found a new link for Tibbertons parish records to 1812 (the old one doesn't work anymore) http://www.melocki.org.uk/salop/Tibberton.html

Frustratingly it doesnt get us any closer to Elizabeth Davies although it does prove that there were people with the Colley name in Tibberton before Edward

The IGI throws up the following names of Davis/Davies in Tibberton

John Poole Davis 22.6.1766 p Anne
Mathew 27.8.1786 p Richard & Sarah
John 18.3.1798 p William & Nancy
John 17.5.1798 p William & Ann
Francis 18.10.1786 p Richard & Sarah
Thomas 1789 (no actual date) p Richard & Sarah
James 18.4.1833 p William & Sarah

We might have to see what non-conformist registers exist for Tibberton to tie her down further

Jane 16.8.1829 p William & Martha
