I would like to know the pronunciation and spelling of Clonagh or Clonenagh.  Are they both the same place or are they two different places?

Clonagh would be on the 'Carlow' side of Laois while Clonenagh is just outside Mountrath and features a cemetery on both sides of the Limerick road, both RC.

Thanks, Jack

I read recently that Clonagh is a Townland and Clonenagh is a Parish.  Does that make sense?

I was just in Ireland, searching the Church of Ireland records for the Parish of Clonenagh, which included the town of Mountrath. I found records for all three of my surnames at the Representative Church Body Library in south Dublin. If you google the library's name, you will find a handlist showing the available Protestant records for Clonenagh.
