Came across a court case where one of my men held another chaps coat while he kicked a fellows head in...mind you, they were all pretty drunk by the sounds of it. All it took was a remark about someone having a bald head and off they went.

My ancestors came from Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire (mother's family) back to 1700s and Trefeglwys and Carno, Montgomeryshire (father's family) back to infinity and beyond.

I still regard Aberystwyth as being in Cardiganshire (Sir Aberteifi)  although in my lifetime it has been in Dyfed and now Ceredigion!!!!

I believe that my line may have been drinkers and fighters ... I think that is why my grandfather moved away........ he was a teetotal ..

my ancestors all seem to have originated from Denbighshire. My first was my mother Veronica Jones b 1910. Ifound a living relative of my mothers sister, but between us we have no trace of the father David Raymond a Shoemaker or other brothers and sisters, but we beleive the familt moved to the Liverpool area tto their grandmothers ,but not the parents. No death records of parents.
