I entered GLA as well, but I'm not sure whether they originated from there. I have a feeling they moved there when the coal industry took off.

Still trying to find my John William, Coal Miner!
Stuck with:
William Williams of Llanllyfni
John Jones in Llanelli
Evan Evans in Caio
David Davies of Llansanffraid
Evans: Caio/Carms
Jones: CDG, DEN

Fathers line from Montgomeryshire.Mothers line from Flintshire.Later on the "Family Humphreys" seems to have spread out quite widely into Wales and beyond.
Humphreys; originating in Montgomeryshire and spreading out locally, nationally and internationally.

Mother's side from Aberystwyth, with minor adjustments from Cornwall and Liverpool.   Father's side mainly from Montgomeryshire but came to Taliesin and Talybont, Cardiganshire to work in the mills and associated trades.   They then married locals in the surrounding countryside.
