Do you have any other information at all that might help find him - say approx age, possible parents names, any brothers or sisters, occupation,  etc.

There is 16 matches for a male Wagstaff marrying in Ayrshire between 1900 and 1930. Do you have John's birth certificate? It should tell you both parents and their date of marriage.

I have a John Wagstaff in my file, born about 1880.  Living in Coylton though at that time.
