Thomas W G Forsyth's grandfather, James, and my 2x Great Grandmother Jane were brother and sister.

Probably been asked before but I have 3 Graham lines in my tree and all trace to Cumberland in Carlisle, Penrith, and Whitehaven

I was wondering how did the Cumberland Graham's originate compared to the scottish ones if anyone knows?

Hello. My great grandmother on my father's side was Evelyn Sophia Graham, born 1849 in Hurby, Cumberland and died 1915 in Riverside, CA. She traveled to Uruguay from England in the 1880s with my great grandfather, George Trevelyan. After giving birth to my grandfather Edward Walter Trevelyan and his siblings, she emigrated with the family to Riverside, CA.

Are there any Grahams in Cumberland who might recognize Evelyn Sophia Graham as an ancestor?
