Alan, That looks really good. I am trying to tie up all the 1901 census entries into a tree so this helps.

Alan's reply showing Thomas Youers Marrying Ellen? and having a son William Youers B 1862 and married in 1889 to Annie Ives has made a lot of questions for me. I have been researching my side of the Youers tree and haven't got to the stage of buying birth and marriage certificates to absolutely verify - but what I had thought I'd worked out was: Thomas Yours b c1837 (note the spelling) parents James and Ann Yours, married Ellen Turner 2nd Qtr 1861, their son William John? Youers was also born 1861 (there were 2 William Youers born that year and another born 5 years later) William was a very popular name with the Youers family. In the 1881 census William shows up with his father and mother as Youers. William Youers marries Elizabeth Coleman in 1882.

I believe my G Grandfather Rupert William Youers b 1883 was their son, (I don't know if he had any brothers or sisters, but my uncle believes he had 2 brothers - we don't know much about him as 'ran of with another woman' - probably had a midlife crisis  :o) he married Ada Elizabeth Lawrence in 1902. They had 2 children, Denis Rupert and Gladys Ada.

I am going to get birth and marriage certificates for Rupert and see what that reveals, but this geneology business is very confusing. ???

Ann

Hi, I have Ewers family in my tree from the ~Buckinghamshire areas, this name of yours, Youers is close to the same pronounciation as mine is, is it possible that your related to this branch somewhere along the line and the name has been altered, literacy was never an high point of centuries past. ~Thanks~
