Hello All .. a new year but an old search.
Michael Blunden lived in the Banstead area, married to Lydia.(?)I have been given the date of 1/7/1821 as his christening date  in Buckland, Surrey .. not possible given his age on various census pages at least for an infant christening. Could this be a marriage date says I?
 Anyone have church records for Buckland  and could possible check this date and individual for me ?

No, according to the IGI, that is a baptism date for a Mich Blunden son of Mich and Lydia Blunden.  It is an extracted record and whoever the clerk was seems to have specialised in abbreviating the christian names at that time.  No other Blundens baptised in Buckland with those parents. 

Michael Blundle married Lydia Cook in 1813 (no exact date given) in Godstone.

PS Searching with parents' name as Blundle gives more children born to this couple.

I should have said that there is no sign of a marriage for a Michael Blunden around that time in that area of Surrey.

Found Sarah Blunden with son James on 1841 census - they are Blundell but living in Buckland.  Still not been to Surrey office - not due to do this until end of Feb now.  Work commitments!  Let me know what else you find - I remain interested in this line.  Haven't been able to progress Lydia Cook's line either yet - gonna keep digging!

Back to Mich ( Michael) Blunden christened 1/7/1821

Anyone come across a death for this person? Either in Bucklands or Banstead? Possibly before 1825. Sure would be nice to find him and take one step closer to Michael Blunden  Sr. and wife Lydia.

I found Micheal Blunden.  His father was William Blunden and his mother was Sarach Burchall.

did you find anything else about Michael?
