Yes thanks - I have my mysterious William Henry Smith b 1849/50 (Manchester) listed on there. Apparently he was rather a slippery character when he was alive so no surprise I can't find him now!

I feel a bit ripped off, I have just found the link to the cemetery site and found you have to pay!! I use the St Helens site, which is council run, and just as good, and it's free

There's been a lot of discussion on here about the site. I'm sure someone will find the link to the other postings. Lots of other cemetery sites are free, including Tameside, but Manchester Council seems to think it is charging a competitive price.
