Want reading material
« on: Wednesday 17 January 07 03:31 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Could someone please suggest any books that i can read about the history of Barnsley and surrounds or even on Yorkshire. Am in Australia so something that could either be found in the bookshops here or ordered online would be great.

Tempus publish a number of local history books.  I have the ones for Halifax and Calderdale, and they have some excellent photographs.  You can visit their website at
