Can anyone help with a marriage between Isabella Faragher and John Gates - could be at Kirk Rushden in 1846

Is the Isle of Man on the BMD or is it just England & Wales?

Keith, if you go to http://www.isleofman.com and click on Manx Genealogy that would be a good place to start.  This bulletin board is a wonderfully fruitful place where you will more than likely link in with others researching the Manx name Faragher.. Len, being one who is always willing to assist.

Also at the same site, you will find http://www.manxnotebook.com which also has copious amounts of info on Manx genealogy, history, and there is a site search engine you can use. 

Brian Lawson's site http://www.lawsons.ca has wills, marriage and burials indexes which are a great boon to researchers also.
