Thanks for the compliments on the site - quite chuffed with it myself as well.

You did not give any dates for your Thonas Chestle's settlement, but as the records go from 1674 up to 1822 - checked between those dates.

Unfortunately there is no one of that name listed - the nearest being Nicholas Chettle & Family in 1703 and again in 1708.

Sorry to have to give you a negative answer

Is it possible for you to see if there are any Edmonds's amongst your records -
particularly:
 Wisborough Green, probably the latter years you mention and
Washington, probably pre 1720
