Phew, I'm glad about that, I was dreading to think that I'd got everybody mixed up and wouldn't know who was who!!

so how could Robert be a classed as a Grandson ..... ??

Emily is listed as "Daur" so I'd assume that the nearest "Head" above her on the page is her parent. Which takes us to Elizabeth ... Pritchard? Could be "Richards" badly transcribed by the enumerator??

You know this is really bothering me !  ::)

The two Faulkner boys are brothers in 1891 and they had neighbours who were Owen Pritchard and family .... no Elizabeth ! ..... I wish I could get my head around this ... can anybody else ??

   Hi Annie....

The more I look at this now the more confused I get.  Both Stead and Crease names are popular in the general area of Liverpool and still appear now.
Our link relly should be the one mention in the will ...we have not named on this site as person may be living...

   my head hurts... :P

Tazzie  going back to will again...

I now think the Pritchard connection is a red herring Annie. Looking at the 1901 image, numbers 72 and 74 Rockfield are clearly separate households.

My guess is that Emily Stead completed the forms showing her father as Head ( of the household, not his name!), but with a note to the effect  that he wasn't actually there on census night, so the enumerator ignored the absentees but transcribed the rest of the entries faithfully. Hence there is no Head of the household at 74 Rockfield. It starts with Emily as Daur. (the later mistranscription of Stead as Head is another story)

But who was Elspet the nurse?
