I went through Yew Tree last night !! ..... till it suddenly struck me it was RC !!  ::) ::) ;) ;) ;)

How do you manage to go through Yew Tree via Colorado  ??? ???

There are two Creases in the Phonebook but both of them are in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.  On checking the 1901 census there are no obvious Creases in Cheshire.  I wonder if it's worth giving them a call?  Well that will be a job for tomorrow anyway.

You do get me into some pickles me girl!

Apparently the information on Ford Cemetery only goes up to 1989 ...............  :(  and we need 1990 !!  :-\ is that right ??  ???

There are three different microfiche numbers which will give you all the
information you need on Ford Cemetery.

Here's another list of Merseyside cemeteries http://www.liverpoolhome.com/Merseyside_Cemeteries/merseyside_cemeteries.htm

If Elizabeth died in the Crosby area she may be buried at Thornton.

Not being picky here but ......

I think the Cemeteries Office is now at the Allerton cemetery, not Priory Road, don't know how long this has been for but I think the enquiries moved.

Thornton is definitely another consideration for Elizabeth but don't pin your thoughts on Crosby, Sefton South could include a much larger area, even Bootle or at least parts of it and there is a cemetery there too.  Also lots of churchyards down Crosby/Formby way which might still do funerals.

We may end up resorting to a death certificate if that's what it takes, which will also mean a wait of a few weeks, so at present I have my fingers crossed that the Record Office might be able to give us some answer.
