Or did I lose the plot again ??

Waiting on somebody else sorting us out here .........
William H Stead married Emily Richards
parents of
OUR Robert W Stead whose wife was Elizabeth Neil Stead and who married a Hurst and died Jan 1990 aged 94 in Sefton South.
Emily's brother was Robert W Richards so yes you are quite right Annie, her uncle by marriage, but could she possibly be enough of a relative for one of his children to have made arrangements for her in her old age, and possibly the funeral?

Mary !

If she didn't have any children of her own .... she might have been a favourite "Aunt " ..... I remember having a Great Aunt who was wonderful when we were growing up !!  :) :) Though she was also one of their peers wasn't she ?? They could possibly have wanted her to be around them !!  :)

I think I want to get her death certificate .... what do you think ??

I think we also have to assume that the "Nora Crease - Mother in Law" living with Miller and Alice Crease should in fact be Anora/Honora Richards so hubby Robert Richards has died between 1891 and 1901 and she seems to have taken over his job of Insurance Agent.

It's unfortunate I can't find anything more about Crease's Music Shop, I seem to remember it was on the block just before Spellow Lane on the left hand side heading in the direction of Liverpool Town Centre.

I wonder if Doreen knew this shop?

Incorrigible Annie!!!

Now this has become a little like the Challenges and we should be trying without spending money.  Think laterally!!

I'm wondering more about a grave.  Orrell and Ford ........ is anybody going to the Record Office, would they check the little black box by the microfiche machines which has the RC burials, including those for Ford Cemetery.  We want an entry for Elizabeth Neil Hurst who died Jan 1990 aged 94 in Sefton South.

I expect that's too easy and she may well have been a C of E burial in which case there are any number of churches and cemeteries which might have been involved, especially since we don't have an address.

However ........ would the Records Office help since we have a very close date of death?  I'll drop them a line.  Email sent, have to wait until at least tomorrow for an answer now.

Time for bed, yawnnnnnnnnnnn nite nite!!
