Wonder if that will make a difference to us ... the address is different ! I was thinking "The Cot" was similar to Cottage !!  ::) or did you guys know all along - it meant "Croft" ....... maybe I've been away too long !!  :P

Just been looking in the old telephone directories - this confirms the address as "The Cot":

1926: Gateacre 64 RW Stead The Cot Grange Lane

I don't see anything for Elizabeth in the later years
