We'd better be careful though .... with it being a "recent " will etc .... and not post it here ......... maybe Anna could email them to us if we send her a PM !!

Hello again Michel - Anna has discovered that Elizabeth Neil Hurst left a Will and as she works close to the building in York where they keep them she has ordered a copy and will collect it in about an hour.

We all have fingers crossed that we have the right person and wait to see whether any descendants are listed that we may be able to contact, especially since it was only 1990 that she died we are all hopeful.

Here it is!

Elizabeth Neil Hurst

Date of death: 19 Jan 1990
Address at death: Abbemeade, 14 Victoria Rd, Waterloo, Liverpool L22 1RP

Date of will: 26 Oct 1988
Address at date of will: 16 Eshe Road, Blundellsands, L23 3AR (this appears to be a sheltered housing development run by Abbeyfield UK):

http://www.housingcare.org/sheltered-housing/scheme-81469-marsh-house-blundellsands-england.aspx

Elizabeth's executors were two partners in the solicitors' firm of Deacon Goldrein Green, 81 Dale St, Liverpool L2 2JA.

She made some small bequests to charities etc and left the residue of her estate to one (female) person.  That person's address is given as the 16 Eshe Road address, suggesting that she lived or worked in the same sheltered housing complex as Elizabeth.  I cannot find her on current electoral rolls at www.192.com, but will not give her name here in case she is still living.

No obvious sign of any children of Elizabeth, I'm afraid  :(  But there may be some clues in here which clever Rootschatters can make something of.

If anyone wants a copy of the will, PM me and I will scan & e-mail it.

Anna

A pm of the name might help if you don't mind Anna please, and thank you enormously for getting the Will.

And the names of the two partners also please, I will try and give them a call.
