Musical Dawson & his Singing Canaries

 Hi folks,

Has anyone heard of Musical Dawson and his singing Canaries. He recorded records in the 1930's. I have a film clip taken in 1938 on him. Would love to know more about him His names is Dawson Smith from Yorkshire. He is a family member.

Hi kress,

Musical Dawson's Canaries accompanied by a full orchestra are singing "Love's Old Sweet Song" on YouTube. The record was released by Rex Records.
Video no longer available: This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.

One of the Local Studies libraries, and possibly local newspapers, in Yorkshire may have something about him .
