Putting it into a file is a great idea. I'd think that should be OK. I'll be interested in the opinions of the "management" The same will have to be done for Dublin.

I had a super time walking around Dublin last May, Christopher  :)  I still  have maps and guides as well, I think. It was really only around Trinity and the Goverment buildings but I think it would be well worth including - ending up at a wee look at a page from the Book of Kells.*

Stephen - I was thinking more like info on my Denbighshire lines  ;D

Paul - so you'll foot the entertainment bill then

ah-why not the summer?-shame really. if you decided to wait till late June/ July/ Aug, you could stay a stones throw from the macintosh building on renfrew st for £10 a night and could make a cheap weekend of it-especially as GNER does advance bookings from London for £19.....

Hi  :)

Many reasons for not that time - see other thread - Dublin meet (we need a gap), peak holiday season (Scotland Full at this time of year so fewer concessions, people may want holidays with families), midges (for those going on to West coast/Perthshire, etc).

Gadget (I can get to Glasgow free anytime  :D )

PS and it's cheaper from Australia after Oct 1st  ;D ;D ;D

I have some (tentative) good news - looks like we will almost certainly be coming to the UK in October!!  At this stage, the earliest and cheapest ticket we can get would be 4th Oct, getting to London on 5th.

Not 100% definite yet, but definitely possibly probable  ;) ;D
