Added - 4-5 hours would be OK. It's the extra 8 or 9 that takes it out of the body

I have just looked at the Virgin Trains site and I can only plan train journeys 12 weeks in advance......so I have no idea for October $:-\$ As a rough guide, the journey will cost me £91 in June

I am delighted to report that, after negotiations with that erstwhile journalist, Bill Blunt, he has agreed to part-sponsor the Glasgow Rootschat meet-up.

In an effort to simultaneously boost the Scottish economy, he has agreed that anyone who attends the meet-up and stakes a claim by leaving a comment on his blog before the end of April can claim a free Tunnock Caramel Wafer at the Glasgow gathering.

Hmmm - I'll have to check that one out with Bill. I'm not sure it's even possible NOT to melt a Tunnock's Marshmallow during transit!

Could I add that because of Scottish Health and Safety rules, the said thingy has to be eaten outside.

It could be transported in a small cool box .........
