Hello, Sanz,

What info. do you aready have on George Job Elvey, i.e. bapt., parents, census etc.  ?  This is just to save doing duplicate work on our part. You say you are seeking English relations, do you mean living relations or his family when he was young.  ?

If you try www.google, you will find there is a lot of info about him in the National Archives.

I am linked to Charles Greville Elvey son of George Job Elvey. CGE married GERALDine Margaret Ranking 28 August 1901, Paddington, London. It looks like she died due to childbirth giving birth to GERALD Ranking Elvey her death being on 29 June 1902, Winchester Lodge, Cuckfield, Sussex.

In 1905 CGE was still at Winchester Lodge, Cuckfield as published in Bradshaw's Railway Directory (not the railway timetable) as a Director of the Weymouth to Portland Railway.
