Hello All

Can anyone assist me with the following information in regards to a Marriage recorded at Cockermouth September Quarter 1940.

John Wilkinson married a Annie L Moon. Ref: Vol 10B; page 1985.

What I would like is the parents names and date of marriage, as it falls in 1940 and their birthdates are circa 1915-1920 the information is hard to find.

Both these people died in New Zealand.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

There is a John B: Cockermouth in 1912 mother's maiden name Penny cert 10b 1242.
Downes, Douglass, McCloud, Purdom, Cummings, Hodge and Wilson

Without buying the certificate it is not possible to find the information you want unless you can discover which church it was in and look at the parish register.  If it was not in a church then buying the certificate is the only option I'm afraid.  Cockermouth registration district covers many churches.
