Hi JD,
I am descendant of Charles  Dollman in Birmingham. His son Charles Arthur Dollman came to Melbourne Australia in 1870. You say they are not connected, but have you come across any info that may be relevant to my hunt in your searches. ?
It seems both our 'families' ended up in Australia as I know some of the Dollman Parmenters went to Adelaide.

Thanks, jess

To Sasha,

I have William as brother to Thomas who was transported for bigamy.  If anyone has information on who Thomas' children to his wives I would appreciate it.  I have William as the son of William and  Elisabeth Dollman.

If you think we coul exchange information please contact me

to Jess,

I am currently in Sydney but will return home to Adelaide on the weekend and will look through my files.  In the meantime check and search http://newspapers.nla.gov.au which has many Australian newspapers back to the early 19C.  I am sure that a number of references in the Melbourne Argus refer to the Dollmans of Birmingham.

Rgds
