1841/51 Census Lookup Please (Myatt)
« on: Wednesday 03 January 07 15:34 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Can any one help me find William Myatt (Born 1822 in Stonnall, STS) on the 1841 and 1851 census's for the Stonnall area. I unfortunatly do not know much about his early life, and both census's are before his marriage (the one I know of anyway), but his oldest son is born in Stonnall, and so is he, so I quess he possible is in the parish on the census.

Thanks for any help provided,
Jon

Hello

do you have an occupation for this chap?

1851
There is 1 listed for c1823 born Staffs -visitor in Wrockwardine, Shrop

1 born c 1828 in Stonnall brother to Frederick living in henstone, Stonnall

Please remember that the census' are notorious for bad spelling & wrong dates & really, used as a guide rather than gospel

Hey,

I found this post on a random google and I think I gave some information about William Myatt. I found a photocopy in my home whilst tidying that lists a William Myatt (Born 1922) and the name of his wife and 8 children. Message me if you'd like me to email it to you.
