Hi,

I am desparately looking for the marriage details of a William Jordan and Ann(a) Butt, it's not on the IGI.

Unfortunately I don't know where or when :-)

However the first (known to me) child of the union was born in 1762 so I would guess the marriage is sometime just before that.

Also I think (and this is the bit I really want to prove) that Ann(a)'s father was a chap called Dr Cary Butt, and he lived in Lichfield. The children of the union however were all baptised in Burton on Trent.

Can anyone help ?!?
