Hi Sue,
Thankyou, I hadn't found the Bock burials and that does look an obvious connection re time and place, much appreciated.

I've tried to find the Alice Fitzgerald that you mentioned but I'm not getting anything to show up.

I'll keep trying - kind regards,  Sashar

Hi Sashar
That is because it is a temperamental and flimsy bloody useless irritating  site.
[Note on the search page it says 'State wide search not available.' Well it sort of is if you can be bothered with it]

Never put in anything but a surname.
This, when I did it for about the 3rd time, brought up all interred Fitzgeralds in the state .
[For a few attempts before this, it showed totally no Fitzgeralds in the whole state ever!!]

Don't use specific shires or cemeteries, just State-wide.
Let me know if you have ongoing difficulty and I will just send the entry
Sue

Got through to the Burra Site and found the Fitzgerald's.
Of course, no ages at time of burial.

I will keep all that info and see what I can connect with it - thankyou Sue.

Regards,  Sashar

Wondering if one of the children of Patrick and Mary, Patrick b.c. 1853, could be the GGF I’m looking for..?
My Patrick Burke had 7 children with Annie Gooley in South Australia from Ellen in 1878 to Hilda Catherine in 1896

I found out years after my post that this was not my BOURKE family.
Mary FARRELLY nee BURKE/BOURKE's death notice is in Trove and she had no other family in Australia or that came to Australia.  She was from Ennis, Clare.   I was lucky to find an elderly relative that confirmed most of what is written in the TROVE newspaper notice.

Could well be the family that davethomas2021 is searching for although I imagine there are a few Patrick Burke records in SA.

Thanks for the reply Sashar, particularly as it’s been so long since your original post! You’re right, there were at least a couple of other Patrick Burkes kicking around in South Australia at that time, but I’ve got the feeling that this actually could be the right family. If you ever managed to find any additional clues, I’d be very interested!
Kind regards, Dave
