Eke, James, b. abt 1831
« on: Monday 01 January 07 05:19 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone give me the antecedents of this James Eke? He is recorded in the 1851 Census as the nephew of Aquila Eke, a blacksmith in Drayton, Norfolk. I have Aquila's ancestry tied down fairly well, but I can't find a brother or sister of his with a son James.
Appreciate any help,
George.

I see from later censuses that James married Emily: if funds allow, their marriage cert will show his father's name and occupation:
