James Bradford and siblings 1831 Heather
« on: Sunday 31 December 06 10:06 GMT (UK) »
Hiya,

Can anyone help me with the parents of James Bradford born Heather abt 1831.

I think his father was John Bradford but don't have his mother.

I also think
His brother was Samuel Bradford born abt 1817 Heather
His sisters were Sarah born abt 1828 Heather
and Mary born abt 1825 Heather

All are purely just good hunches but I am pretty sure they are all one family but need proof and their mother's name if anyone can help me.

thanks to all helpers and a Happy New Year to everyone

I don't know what you already have but could this be them in 1851? if so it gives an extra couple of children

Thanks Mary,

that is my guy James but I want to try to find his mother. I cannot find her in 1841 so I presume she died pre Census.

I also want to try and fix Samuel in the family.

I think parish records are the only thing that is going to help me though

regards

Thringstone would make sense wouldn't it since that would appear to be where James is living in 1861.

Could this be your family in 1841? although Martha may well be another child, or even a second wife.

All born in County EXCEPT Martha.

Piggs Green, Whitwick, Leicestershire (Parish of Thringstone)
John Bradford 40 collier
Martha 25
Thomas 20
Mary 15
Sarah 15
James 10
