Hi I live in Cyffylliog, near to Cernyfed which is in the parish of Llanrhaeadr! although there is a village of Llanrhaeadr it is also the parish to which we belong. In the olden days the river Clywedog was the boundary. I think if you go onto the Denbighshire County Council website you may be able to access the parish boundaries. The old farmhouse at Cernyfed is just a ruin now with a more modern one built. He may well have been a sawyer as we are very close to the forestry.
