There is a marriage in NSW 1880  Annie Tyzack married Charles P Hidden.

Hi

This couple had children in collingwood/Fitzroy area of Victoria between 1871and 1877.  Charles' middle name is Porter and some of the children are indexed under PORTER as the surname.

Regards

Genni

Hi Gennig and thank you.  I am looking into this info further, have a feeling this may be Hannah.  Thank you for your help - will keep you posted.

G'day Silas,
I am not sure if you are still after info regarding Hannah Tyzack or not. Annie Tyzack and Charles Porter Hidden were my husband's g-g-grandparents and it would seem that Annie and Hannah were one and the same. My husband is descended from their son Alfred Ernest who was registered as Hidden at birth but who was used the surname Porter when he married Mildred Alice Stewart on 15th April 1901.

I am happy to share what little info I have and would be grateful if you would do the same.

Regards

Hi Wombo.  I honestly have done no more research into this for ages.  All the info I have is that Hannah was born in 1849 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland.  Robert was born 1853 in Scarcroft, Yorkshire and died in Victoria, Australia in 1941.  If there are any questions you need answering about their ancestors, please ask.  The parents of Hannah and Robert were Frederick Charles Tyzack, born 1826 and Eliza Margerrison, also born 1826.  Frederick, as far as I can tell was the illegitimate son of a Mary Ann Tyzack.

Robert Tyzack's sister, Mary Ann Tyzack, born December 1850 (same name as Frederick's mother) was my maternal gt grandmother.

Most of the info I have regarding the Tyzacks before Annie has come from Don Tyzack and Bruce Thyzack...perhaps you have seen Don's website?
