scroll down to Parish Register
click Go
Select whichever register you want and then zoom in to read it. Just had a quick look and it seems that there are more of Halifax registers than Elland but you might get lucky. There is a lot of other interesting bits and pieces on the site as well as the registers.

hi there i was looking at your site for ripponden, there is a family of crawshaws that are builders and contractors i sold one of them some beehives&colonys 20 years ago when i was moving to my present house. i also went to school with a lad called crawshaw he lived at ripponden cant remember is first name he might not be around now, there dropping like flys, 2 this week @69.
   there was olso at least one chapel in ripponden it has just recently been converted into livings probably appartments. if interested i can soon find out what the chapel was, baptist, zion, weslyan etc, if you want to know mail me !.
