I think this locates them on the Forest Road over a mile outside Wokingham to the north  All Saints is the most likely church although Binfield also becomes possibility.

Hi David, Hi Harry,

I m afraid I can t confirm much of what you ask except that yes, Edwin did marry Esther Candy Reading district but church unknown, I don t have the certificate.

I have seen the 1851 census entry but as Harry alsp points out, I don t know an exact address.

Edwin was indeed baptised in Yateley on 30 June 1822.

William Cordery was his Great Nephew, son of Mary Cordery nee WHITE, Edwin s niece.

I do thank you very much for all your efforts on my behalf.

   Regards

Hi,

If it s of any help, Edwin and Esther had four daughters.

  Emma   c1850
  Esther  c1852
  Eliza     c1854
  Ellen     c1856

Later censuses claim all where born in Wokingham but again, I m afraid no idea of the exact parish.

There are probable Wokingham births for the three youngest sisters but the nearest for Emma is in Henley.

Finding Edwin s burial is proving very tricky.  It s really the final piece of his story to put in place.  If it can t be found then at least I have his death record.

I walked round the appropriate part of the All Saints Churchyard today and there were no obvious gravestones.  It is a very large churchyard for a small town.

If Located off of Forest Road, then it could possibly St Pauls,I was a baptist, their church was Milton road but our neighbours were Cof E and when their daughter died she was buried at St,Pauls,I lived in a road off of Forest Road.
