Yes Kellie that service number is correct but I have 1918 as the year of death from military-genealogy.com, they had him as being born in Brighton. How did you find out where he was Buried????Thats fantastic

Tess, Rhayader sounds like it, the y has faded out in the marriage cert so wasn't sure what it was, gives me another place to start looking.

Am helping to research all the men on the Tynemouth WW1 Roll of Honour on which George Alfred West appears. Have you made any progress since this thread was first published?
