Hi,

Welcome to RootsChat!

Using IGI I found the christening of George Dannit, 6 March 1756 at Nettleton, Lincs.  He was the son of Peter and Margaret.

Could this be your man?

Hi Patrish. George & Sarah both may have been buried at Claxby by Normanby. George 1835 and Sarah 1821 but I am not sure if it is the right people.
I know they had 3 children.
Wm. Dannat born 1787 at Claxby near Market Rasen..died  1794
Eliz. Dannat    "     1800 "       "        "          "         "
George Dannatt "  1804 "       "                                        "    1874 South Owersby Lincs.
I know George the son was married twice. first time to Alice Dixon 1828 then to Mary Ogg 1851. This was Mary Ogg's 3rd marriage.
I just cannot find anything out about George senior & Sarah.

For births, marriages and deaths before 1837, when civil registration began, you will have to check back in parish registers. The record of  George's marriage to Sarah might show his father; I've not had the chance to check parish registers for my family yet....they are all too far away!

Thanks Patrish. I am sure the 1841 census details are correct. This is the family of George & Sarah's son George born Claxby 1804.

I do not understand the connections you give about the christening of the 2 John Dannats I am looking for George (senior) details if any.

Thanks also for the information about Sarah Faunthrop it has just confirmed what a lady from Lincoln has just sent me. She is researching the Fanthorpe family tree.
