WW2 Soldiers info
« on: Friday 01 December 06 13:21 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to ascertain what became of my Grandads best friend.
He was born 1918 in Pontypridd, and was called Desmond Cummings.
I believe he would have fought in the 2nd World War, but not sure of which regiment and which force etc.
I did a search for him on Ancestry, but nothing came up at all that is him...not even his birth (which, I found on there!)I have also searched CWGC and National Archives....where now do I go???

Thanks

He lived for several years at 15 Delamere Street, Paddington with his sister Iris. His married sister Winifred also lived there for a while until she and family moved to New Zealand.
