A story I have on Mary Louise Wheeler husband James Henry Smith James Smith came to NSW from Geelong Vic, he meet Mary while carting wool from the Hunter Valley area. His father William was very much against him marrying in the Catholic Church, so he decided to leave Victoria and get a job as a barman in NSW, where on the 7 April 1902 he married Mary Louisa Wheeler and was disowned by his family, never seeing them again from a descendant of James and Mary, wondering how true this is
James and Mary had a son William (Billy) who live at Randwick, Sydney Billy was quite a successful Jockey that lived at Randwick, he later became a Tailer with his own business in Sydney
