LODGLEY
« on: Sunday 26 November 06 16:35 GMT (UK) »
Hello all,

I wonder if anyone has any information on a place in Staffordshire by the name of LODGLEY - I can find no reference to it anywhere - it does not seem to exist today. I have an ancestor who was born there in 1797 and am interested in knowing where it might have been.

Very many thanks in advance

Hi,

Could it be Sedgley?  Sedgley does look like "Lodgley" on many census returns.
