1851 look-up Elizabeth Mackvoy/Mackavoy Woolwich

Can anyone help

Looking for

Elizabeth Mackvoy/Mackavoy b. 1841-1844 Woolwich, Kent

I am aware of an Edward Mackavoy and family in Woolwich b 1801 but he has an Elizabeth b 1829 so it's not her. I cannot seem to trace another family of this name in Woolwich - I was hoping someone might take a look for me.  She married Edward Kirkham in 1863.

Do you have the marriage certificate? Was the father's name on same?

Not alot of help, but I found Edward & family in 1841 - name written as MacKaooy - so presumably many variations!

Did you managae to get that marriage certificate?  I am interested to see who your Elizabeth is from as I am also from the Mackavoys in Woolwich.  I am from the 1794 Elizabeth Mackavoy who married Robert Mercer.
Would be happy to share any information I have if we are related in some distant way!!

Sorry only just picked up your message - yes i found marriage certificate - my Elizabeth was daughter of Patrick McAvoy a soldier in Chatham garrison - she married Edward Kirkham - so no relation I'm afraid. She had two lder sisters both born in Ithika, Greece.
