What a great piece of work Cazza......Many Congratulations....

Oh! if only Computer books for 'Dummies' were that clear and concise without the use of Acronyms without explanation as to what they mean, and Jargon, which, to some poor soul trying to gain a little knowledge, means even less.. ;D ;D

I have tried on many occasions to explain the 'joys' of scanning to my Bro'-in-Law and virtually watched his eyes glaze over....with your permission I will print this Tutorial out, give it to him, and if he can't grasp it then, I will tell him to sell his machine.... ;D ;D...

Very Best Regards, Michael.

Of course Cazza....In your generosity you may have made a rod for your own back here..... ;D ;D

The next request I can see being aimed at you is 'How to add text and arrows etc.,' as shown in your Tutorial..... ;D ;D ;)

I must say I'm quite overwhelmed by the response to the tut and would like to say a big thank you to all for your very kind words.  :-*

Michael in response to your question, the tut was created in MS Word.  I inserted the printscreens into the document (there were more but had to remove them due to size restrictions) and then using the drawing toolbar menu in Word, I created text boxes over the printscreens to allow me to type the text.  Next, I  removed the borders from the text boxes.  The arrows were also created from the same drawing toolbar.  I then converted the Word document to a PDF file using very high compression to reduce the size (hence the poor quality of the images).

Cazza52; Look here, I can host the file for you, any size you like. If you don't mind.
If you do not want me to host it I will remove the page.
Hanx!
